The Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo has announced its Summer 2012 line, which also includes the Samsung Galaxy S III (SC-06D). However, unlike the international model, the Japanese version comes with a dual core processor 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8960).

This dual-core variant, Samsung has chosen to increase the RAM to 2 GB (PDF Link).

Phone is expected to be available in June or July and will Xi DoCoMo LTE service, Near field Communication (NFC), 1-seg TV, Android 4.0 operating system, screen Super HD 4.8 inch AMOLED 1280 x 720 pixel main camera of 8 MP, 1.9 MP front camera, microSD card slot (supports up to 64 GB), and battery of 2,100 mAh.
