Google Pixels Camera is now compatible with almost all Android smartphones
One of the most appreciated features of Google Pixels devices is the camera . The combination of hardware and software allows you to get shots in line with industry’s leading competitors and a few steps above those taken with the old Nexus.
Thanks to a Ukrainian developer called BSG, it was possible to carry out an official Google application developed exclusively for Pixels by Google. The developer has been able to find a way to implement a fully functional application that can support Qualcomm Snapdragon 820/821 and 835 processors. This way, you can use the HDR+ feature on almost all the latest Android terminals.
The news was reported by Adam Conway of XDA who personally tested the Google Camera in version v4.4.012.156195200 on a multitude of devices such as LG G6, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T , OnePlus 5 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
The XDA team also conducted a series of independent analysis of the application code . In this way it was possible to ward off the presence of malicious code parts and to guarantee their safe use and installation.
This is a great news to maintain the ease of use of the official Google Camera application but at the same time take advantage of the latest software enhancements and the HDR+ feature exclusively reserved for Pixels. All interested parties can download it from this link.
